Robert Moses Nature Walk Recap

Last Tuesdays bird walk at Robert Moses was lead by Jack. We had 9 members attend. While walking from parking lot 5 to the Light House we saw:

  • several yellow rump warblers
  • a hermit thrush, an osprey
  • a merlin
  • a flicker
  • a carolina wren
  • double crested cormorants
  • an eastern towhee
  • song sparrows
  • ravens
  • a ring billed gull
  • black back gulls
  • herring gulls
  • laughing gull
  • a common loon
  • a morning dove
  • and a sharped- shinned hawk
They even had a speed limit for the birds migrating!!! A good time was had by all. Thanks to Jack and all who came!
